I've been using this keyboard for several months now and this is my first from daskeyboard but it's my favorite keyboard to date. The tactile feedback is satisfying, my fingers always know where they are because of the design and I haven't noticed any lag. The volume and media buttons are a nice plus although sometimes the top row of the number pad gets somewhat in the way of the play/pause and fast forward buttons if you're typing quickly. The keys are well lit even in bright rooms which makes using the applets useful because you can always see the keys easily. If you're going to be using this while on conference calls or video chat then just be aware that the keystrokes will likely get picked up by your microphone which can become annoying to others but this is also good for keeping meeting times shorter haha.

I haven't had the best luck with keyboards over the last few years - I've bought hundreds of dollars worth and had one after another fail on me. Ducky, Razer, the list goes on. I've dealt with RMAs, models getting obsoleted, failed keys, spamming keys, wonky battery/charging connections, the list goes on. The one brand I kept putting off because it just seemed like it was a bit too high of a price was a Das Keyboard. So I finally made the decision and went with a refurbished - not for the lower price, but because I know that most refurbished items get checked out by an actual human before they get resold. My 4Q arrived quickly, well packaged and in "like new" condition. It was kinda obvious it wasn't factory packed and the original box was a little beat up, but the keyboard and accessories were in perfect condition. It took all of a few minutes to get the software downloaded and the LEDs set up the way I like, and the software is obviously not necessary or invasive (You listening, Razer!). It sits quietly in the background doing nothing. The keyboard itself is awesome. And as soon as my wife's Razer acts up, she's getting a Das Keyboard as well. Thanks for an awesome experience!
